A mindful form of serving coffee inspired by Turkish coffee drinking rituals.
The concept focuses on creating three emotions; feeling excited, relieved, and receptive. These emotions are encouraging users to communicate more openly and trustfully.
The interaction needs only two people; a listener and a storyteller. They are invited to play with the sand to create a deeper level of connection with each other while enjoying a cup of coffee.
The listener is receptive to the story that the storyteller has explained. And the storyteller is feeling relieved about sharing their thoughts.
Meanwhile, they are feeling relaxed. Having an object, they are genuinely interested in and not having eye contact encourages people to talk about sensitive topics more easily.
The aesthetics of the design aims to create a minimalistic, modern, and geometric look.
